I saw this band at the Kent folk fest and they are very interesting and original. I hear they are from Akron and they are kind of country ,rock and folk and sometimes really rock out too. The singer has a great voice and the band grooves great. They have a guy who plays several things, banjo a slide like guitar, and is a great fiddle player. See this band...allot of fun and very different.

KSU Folk Fest

Great to see LWR back at the folk fest this year.I look forward to their set in the alley each year. The alley had some of the best music during the day for the fest by far.

Great band!

I saw this group at the Screaming Rooster when I ducked in to get a drink. It was their CD Release party and they were really good. They did a really great cover of Green River and some nice songs of their own too.

Lo-Watt Radio will be back this year 11-19-10 for the KSU folk fest in the Acorn alley area (across from the kent stage)Show @ 5:30 come out and see this band band and be a part of the 44th annual KSU folk fest.
