Cleveland / Akron Area. To go and personally see these bands...most of which are local, only reaffirm's the wonderful talent we have here in Northeast Ohio.  
For some, this may be hard to believe, but most of these bands are not out there playing for the money...they are playing for the love of music and playing for the fans that come out to see them. FisticuffFisticuff formed in 2004 and has created a style of music that is inspired by goals that cannot be reached and the beaten that wont stay down. As physically demanding as it is intense, Fisticuff sounds like a cross breed of Sepultura, Pantera, Fear Factory, and Slipknot. Using these elements of bark style vocals and Soothing harmonies with technical speed and dark grooves. The aggression is backed with fast double kicks and combines it with rhythmically syncopated riffs and intensified sound.
