Mike Lenz

 Mike
Lenz is based in the Akron, Ohio area and
performs solo on guitar, vocals, harmonica or kazoo, and stompbox.
Winner of the Marietta, Ohio based BJFM 2005 Blues Challenge, he is
influenced by everything from delta and piedmont blues artists such as
Robert Johnson, Son House, Blind Willie Johnson, Blind Blake and Tommy
Johnson to Jug Band stomps and rags of the 20’s and
30’s to classic 50’s and 60’s electric
Muddy Waters, Jimmy Reed, and Howlin’ Wolf to the juke joint
boogies of Hound Dog Taylor and modern North Mississippi blues. His
live show includes his originals, classic blues and tastes of just
about every genre of American roots music.

out of the rural smoky hollers and urban ghetto dive bars alike are a
rag tag bunch of pirates, punk rockers and hillbillies. They call
themselves "The Misery Jackals" because that is what they eat. Their
songs cover the wide range spectrum of misery, suffering and depravity
as a lesson to you, or perhaps a foretelling of your life to come. The

Theory is a cover band playing a unique blend of music from the 60s up
to today's current hits. We would consider ourselves to be a
pop/alternative rock band. Our target audience is in the age range of
20-45. We are all seasoned and experienced musicians who take pride in
our craft. Some examples of the artists we cover are as follows: The
Police, Foo Fighters, Red Hot Chili Peppers, The Cure, Modern English,
STP, Tom Petty, Cream, Franz Ferdinand, REM - to name a few.

Taxi is a six piece Rock, Pop,and Blues band from the Akron, Ohio area
available for your special occasion. The Taxi plays a variety of hits
from some of the greatest bands and artists in music history (See our

Mystic from the 1960s to the present providing one sweet rock 'n' roll
