This month we are featuring Flawless Among The Fallen. Flawless Among the Fallen was our Facebook Question "Who Should be Featured on Music Cleveland" poll winner back in August. Things got a little crazy around here and they were pushed back to our November band. We may be slow, but we were finally able to get them featured. I also want to extend many thanks to Tall James Photography for the photos.
Flawless Among The Fallen strives to bring fans what they deserve musically, giving musicians and music enthusiasts alike something to talk about. With a stage show that is second to none and classically inspired modern music, "Flawless bring an energy to the stage you just have to see to believe."

Q:
When you sit down to write a new song, what comes first - lyrics or the music or is it done together? Does the band as a whole contribute or do you have just one song writer?
A:
More often than not, the music comes first. We're a musically
driven band, so naturally the instrumentation is the main focus in our
songwriting. Our guitar player used to be the main writer of the band,
but now everybody has an equal amount of creative input. The end
product is much better, I must say, as we sound more like a band than
someone's vision of a band.
Q:
In 1 year from now, where do you see yourselves? Touring, studio, just need a break from the touring and studio work?
A:
We've been trying to put this album out for a few years now,
and we've been patiently waiting to release it. At the rate things are
going for this EP, in a year I see us still trying to release it. JUST
KIDDING! In one year from now, I expect to be on the road. If not,
then we'll be preparing to be on the road. I have good feelings about
the future, the ball is starting to roll slowly but surely.
Q:
When you write your songs, there is all kind of thoughts and feelings that goes along with creating it. After playing the song over and over do those same feelings or thoughts come back when you sing them now or is it so automatic you just enjoy the aspect of playing them for the live crowd?
A:
As a guitar player, I grow very tired of my material very soon
after it gets written. One of the first rules of playing live music is
that you're not allowed to play a song onstage if you're not
completely bored with the song yet, so we must be doing something
right, because I've definitely done that, especially with the older
material! With that being said, you must know that we still put every
last bit of energy into our stage show, and the song's feelings always.
Q:
On a lighter note, if someone saw your band in a club and wanted to buy you a drink, what would it be?
