Akron Agora

My favorite club was the Akron Agora. I remember when the Agora opened for the first time to teens on Sunday night. (Unfortunately that is also what shut them down.) It was there that I saw my first real band and that was all it took to hook me into music. I loved the dance floor. I think it was the only one around this area that had that big of a floor that was packed all the time. It also had a great stage for the bands to perform and you could still see them because the stage was high enough to see over the crowd. I have some great memories of that place. It was sad to see it go.
